Quickdraw Mitigation Bank is 102 acres located in Osceola County within the Lake Gentry Basin. The site forms a portion of the wetland and upland headwaters for Big Bend Swamp, whose waters move south toward Lake Gentry and then into the Kissimmee River. Historically, the site was utilized for silviculture, suppressed fire regimes, and cattle ranching. Quickdraw Mitigation Bank was approved by South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) in February 2011. The mitigation plan includes creation of herbaceous, shrubby, and forested wetlands, enhancement of surface waters and upland preservation.

Quickdraw MB is approved to offset forested and herbaceous wetland impacts within the following SFWMD Basins:  Boggy Creek, Shingle Creek, Lake Hart, East Lake Tohopekaliga, Lake Tohopekaliga, Alligator Lake, Lake Myrtle, Lake Gentry, and S-63A. Its service area includes portions of Orange and Osceola Counties.
