Pabst Wetland and Stream Mitigation Bank was approved by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Rock Island District in December 2021 for a potential of 5.97 emergent wetland credit and 36,823.75 stream credits.  The mitigation plan includes wetland creation and enhancement as well as stream and riparian buffer improvements.

Pabst Wetland and Stream MB is approved to offset emergent wetland and stream impacts within the Iowa Service Area, which includes portions of Boone, Hamilton, Hancock, Hardin, Iowa, Jasper, Johnson, Keokuk, Mahaska, Marshall, Polk, Poweshiek, Tama, and Wright Counties.
