Kae Hovater
President
With over 15 years experience in the mitigation banking industry, Kae Hovater is President of EcoCredit Marketing. Her vast knowledge of the natural resource market throughout the United States, with a primary focus in Florida, is a result of conducting over 60 unique, in-depth market demand analyses. This knowledge has also proven successful in the marketing and managing of mitigation and conservation banks throughout the United States resulting in over $100 million in credit transactions. She feels that developing strong relationships with regulatory agencies, environmental consultants, engineers, developers, FDOT, institutional investors as well as single-family homeowners is the most treasured part of her job. Kae currently serves as President for the Florida Association of Mitigation Bankers and serves on the Board for the Florida Local Environmental Resource Agency. Kae holds a Bachelors Degree from the University of South Florida.
Sheri Lewin
Special Projects Consultant
Sheri Lewin serves as the Special Projects Consultant for EcoCredit Marketing. Since 1997, Sheri Lewin has brought value to the Natural Resource Trading Industry and its investors. With over 20 years of experience representing privately-generated wetland and conservation credits in the United States, Sheri is a pioneer in the industry. Career accomplishments include $150 million in environmental credit transactions; serving 10 years on the National Mitigation Banking Association (now ERBA) Board of Directors, including Board President during the implementation of the USACE/EPA Federal Compensatory Mitigation Rule in 2008; serving 10 Years on Florida Association of Mitigation Bankers Board of Directors and serving as Legislative Chair in 2012, which was instrumental in passing state legislation, HB599.
