Licking County
Wetland and Stream Credits

Hodgson is a 36.21-acre stream mitigation bank located in Licking County, OH within the Licking River Watershed (HUC 5040006). Hodgson Mitigation Bank was approved by the USACE Huntington District in April 2022 and currently has stream credits available to offset unavoidable impacts to waters of the United States authorized under Sections 401 and 404 of the Clean Water Act, Section 10 of the Riversand Harbors Act, and impacts to ephemeral streams regulated by the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency.

The proposed restoration will help offset the aquatic impacts from economic growth within the greater Columbus area. The bank proposes over 13,000 linear feet of stream re-establishment, re-habilitation, and enhancement. Restoration will return the degraded streams to stable systems and will improve and protect water quality and aquatic resource habitats within the Licking Watershed. Hodgson Mitigation Bank is authorized to offset impacts located within portions of Knox, Licking, and Muskingum Counties.
